Painting a concrete terrace

Painting of shutters

This offer is valid for the repainting in 2 layers of 10 wooden shutters of 65x180cm. Do you wish to freshen up the paint on your shutters as part of your embellishment work? This step is even more necessary if the existing paintwork has cracks. In this case, it is advisable to renew the operation every 3 years at the most. The painter will first establish a diagnosis of the condition of your shutters. He will then provide a personalised estimate according to the renovations to be carried out. Depending on your region, he will advise you, among other things, on the steps to follow concerning town planning regulations if you need to apply for a permit. Expect a cost of around €1700, including supplies, for 10 shutters. This budget generally includes stripping, small repairs such as light re-caulking, scraping, washing and 2 coats of paint. The replacement of certain very damaged shutters (insect attacks, swollen wood...) will be the subject of another estimate, with of course the best advice from our craftsmen painters for the maintenance of your shutters.

Renovation of paintwork following water damage

This offer concerns the repainting of a room following water damage. This includes the restoration of the affected area and the application of 2 coats of paint to the entire wall. The experts of the Myspecialist network are at your disposal to isolate the cause of the problem and propose a permanent solution. The intervention of the professional painter is generally done in two steps: 1- Remediation of the affected surface: To accelerate the drying process, he will use a drying unit. A humidity test or humitest will then determine whether the walls are ready to be repainted. This process is also a very effective anti-mould treatment to prevent the reappearance of stains, moss and fungi. 2- Before applying two coats of glycerine paint, the painter generally applies a water-repellent undercoat, which allows the paint to adhere better. It usually costs around €35 per linear metre to clean up the walls and €30 per square metre to prepare the surface, apply a water-repellent undercoat and two coats of paint.
